SNAPCAT BANDITS is an ALT ROCK DUO from DETROIT, MI. The project came to life in 2023 by Mike Krupinski (guitar, bass, vocals) and Melanie D. Marshall (drums). This project has the benefit of Mike and Melanie’s years of experience as songwriters and rock musicians, crafting edgy alternative, punk and power pop rock that is heavy on melody, attitude, and vibe.

SNAPCAT BANDITS is in the process of releasing their second EP titled ANYTHING & NOTHING named after two of the songs. SUMMER DAYS, SEPTEMBER RAIN, NOTHNG TO PROVE, ANYTHING TO SAY and one punk style cover of GOLD DUST WOMAN will make up the second EP. and it should be released in full by May of 2025. The album Anything & Nothing is a huge production of rock anthems, thundering drums, crunchy guitars, and strong melodic vocals as well as charged with emotional energy.

SNAPCAT BANDITS has gained the attention of press and radio stations throughout 2024. They put out lyric music videos as performance music videos on YouTube. The YouTube Channel has gained momentum with 127,000 views of the LONELY HIGHWAY music video. In 2024 Snapcat Bandits achieved over 427,000 streams on Spotify including 37,000 saves of their music.

SNAPCAT BANDITS has is in pre-production for their next album with plans for recording early 2025. The DUO will be playing live shows throughout 2025 and plans to keep the momentum moving forward. Their live shows are energetic with punk attitude. Their Alt Rock music is emotionally charged.

Formed amidst the gritty backdrop of Detroit, Michigan in 2023, Snapcat Bandits emerged onto the Rock scene with a distinctive fusion of raw energy and musical finesse. Comprising of virtuoso Mike Krupinski, on guitar, bass, and vocals, alongside the powerhouse drummer Melanie D. Melanie and Mike from Snapcat Bandits are two of the most awesome people I have ever had the pleasure to talk to, they are such down-to-earth people and they have similar cool music taste as me, so we just hit it off as friends and people. I'm Music Magazine: Formed in 2023, rock band Snapcat Bandits, out of Detroit, Michigan, is Mike Krupinski (guitar, bass, vocals) and Melanie D. Marshall (drums). They have a new, emotionally charged single and video, “Lonely Highway”, out now. ‘“Lonely Highway”, is about being in a bad relationship or bad situation”, says Marshall. In the Led Zeppelin song, “Trampled Under Foot”, Robert Plant talks about likening a motor car to parts of a human body.

Both Mike and Melanie intentionally turned off all media, TV, news and internet news. They felt like they were moving away from the hostility and divisiveness of the current state of affairs in the outside world.
